TO LAWFULLY DONATE TO A POLITICAL CANDIDATE YOU:

1. Have to be a US citizen or Permanent resident (holder of a green card).
2. Cannot be a Federal contractor
3. Cannot use general treasury funds of a corporation, labor organization or national bank.
4. Maximum contribution for individuals is $5,400 ($2,700 for primary, $2,700 general election)
5. Maximum for PACs (political action comm.) is $10,000 ($5,000 for primary, $5,000 general election)
6. Need to be aware that Political contributions are not tax deductible.
7. If contribution exceeds $200 then -please- provide Full Name, Address, Occupation, and Employer.
8. It less than $200 then it would be considered an anonymous donation (personal information is optional).
